Lunar New Year, one of the most significant cultural celebrations around the world, is a time for family reunions, traditions, and hope for the year ahead. As we step into the year of Snake 2025, there’s no better way to celebrate than by bringing the volunteers together with compassion, generosity, and joy.

The event was on February 15, 2025. We had some delicious dishes, including roast BBQ pork, spring rolls, chicken skewers and sweet rice cakes—symbols of prosperity and good luck for the year to come. A special thank you goes to Maxim Bakery for their sponsorship for BBQ pork and cocktail buns, helping make this celebration even more special. Their support played a crucial role in bringing everyone together and ensuring the event was filled with good food and great memories.

In line with the tradition of giving during Chinese New Year, each volunteer received a small red envelope, symbolizing good luck and fortune for the year ahead.

With the Chinese New Year marking a fresh start, we look forward to another year of making a difference, helping those in need, and continuing to strengthen the bonds of our volunteers.
