D.A.R.E. BC Society Resources

D.A.R.E. BC Society prides itself in being able to provide parents with the tools necessary to start the conversation about making healthy choices around drugs and alcohol. D.A.R.E. BC Society appreciates that for many students and families English is a second language. As such, we have developed both the D.A.R.E. kiR program and the D.A.R.E. kiR Family Talks in the following languages: Arabic, Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese. D.A.R.E. BC Society is continuing to expand the language supports and is in the works to develop the D.A.R.E. kiR program and the D.A.R.E. kiR Family Talks into Punjabi.

Parents, you can be involved all along the way with your child's D.A.R.E. KiR program. We have provided the D.A.R.E kiR Family Talks to help parents with conversation starters to discuss drugs and alcohol with their child. Use the Decision Making Model with your child to help them work through tough decisions and making healthy choices. Additionally, you can download the entire D.A.R.E. kiR program to help your children apply the information and skills taught in the D.A.R.E. kiR program to their daily lives.
